About

At the core of the DVF identity is a symbol that evolves continuously, forming new connections with each application through the letters DVF. Designed as a flexible system rather than a fixed mark, the identity adapts across formats, moments, and collaborators, reflecting the dynamic nature of Vancouver’s design community. More than a visual refresh, the identity helped reignite momentum around the festival. It set the stage for a renewed platform, one built to support a full schedule of talks, workshops, and events, and to re-establish Design Vancouver as a central gathering point for the city’s creative culture. The identity extends beyond the screen into physical spaces, social channels, and community touchpoints, building anticipation toward the 2026 relaunch of the festival.
